I haven't had any time to post here or do anything creative ever since I got back from Denmark because it's been a madhouse at work! After only a few days in that place my vacation is a distant memory. These 2 quotes by writer Terry Pratchett sum things up nicely:
- “This isn't life in the fast lane, it's life in the oncoming traffic.”
- “Only in our dreams are we free. The rest of the time we need wages.”
Well, I should be "free" again next month (free and wage-less, bwahaha!). Yes, free to find another temp position... but I am SO looking forward to it, because damn. The only things keeping me together this week are the Marie Claire Idées magazine I bought Wednesday on my lunch hour , and coming home to my son's silly little boy hugs.
