The only creative thing I managed to do today. One ATC, hold the beads, comin' right up. Fresh off the sewing machine and out the door in a flash. It was still warm when I put it in the envelope :o)
I used a little irise film, a top layer of gold tone synthetic sheer fabric, and Sulky silver metallic thread (Opalescent) around the edges so the colors change a lot depending upon the light- the results are pretty when you hold it in your hand but it's very hard to photograph! I just noticed that Sulky has a free projects section on their website - this one is for my friend Barb at Woofnanny since she has a thing for men's ties :o)
PS: Speaking of ties, here's a great tutorial for a necktie schoolbag.
Gack! (or however you spell screaming, heart fluttering, doing a dance step). How perfect is that?!!!
You never told me your candy list...

Wow ! Nicely done for an "in a hurry" project !

If that's what you can do in a hurry, I'd love to see what you come up with when you get time to think about it! Pleased to be able to understand what it is you are saying this time ;-)

You can get opalescent sewing machine thread? Oh my, I must plan a trip to the haberdashers here in town to see if they have any. I love anything opalescent / irridescent / pearlescent, a bit magpie-ish I guess.
