Lofty design

Here is a wonderful link that my brother sent me today. Aqua Designs: proof positive that furniture and lighting design can be other-worldly and beautiful. The site opens with a slide show, so just let it run and enjoy. The silk Morning Glory floor lamps and the leaf-shaped Satala hammock are my favorites. Awesome. Look at all the fabric used in their designs!!
Dang. Now I'll have to come up with a killer link for my brother (that's what we do)... Just to whet his appetite I'll let him drool a little over these concept cars til I find something really cool, unless maybe he will like these Free Spirit spherical tree houses... We always wanted a tree house when we were kids! Oh, and here's a French company called la Cabane Perchée that will make your tree house dreams come true!

PS: Here you can rent a tree house in the south of France- Takes B&B to a whole new level (no pun intended)! Not cheap, but oh so original :o) What's that expression again...? "Calgon, take me away!"
