I need to upload some new blog photos into iPhoto, but in the meantime and for lack of anything more recent, here is a photo of the first mola I made about 4 years ago. I really should make another one of these things because at least reverse appliqué is something I can do while the rest of the family watches TV (something I don't do very often). I find hand sewing really relaxing. Just takes a little planning, but for me the hard part is coming up with an original design. Maybe I'll do a frog next time, but I really like the idea of this
That is gorgeous my dear, I have a couple of pieces of mola work , I will photograph them this weekend .. your piece again is great!

Wow, love this. I love molas in general, but you've got some really interesting colors and things going on here.

Hello!
I'm an elementary/middle school art teacher and I came across your blog while doing some late night googling for a mola (paper) project I'm starting next month. I browsed through a couple of pages because your blog piqued (sp) my curiosity. Anyway, I really enjoyed it and hope to do one of my own one day. Anyway, would you mind if I used the images of your molas in a PowerPoint presentation for my students? They're very lovely! Please email me and let me know.
Thank you,
Diana
