My Owl Mola

This morning I had a dream that a couple of owls were living in my backyard. In the dream they were beautiful and white, and they made a nest in an old wicker laundry basket that my father put high on top of the fence at the house I grew up in. Wonder what all that means... Anyway, this made me want to post a picture of the owl mola I made a couple of years ago. I'd really like to make one of these again, with a different animal. Hand sewing is so relaxing, and I love doing reverse appliqué. This is the sencond mola I made. I'll post a photo of the first one another time when I have a dream about coyotes :o)

wow weeee girl your good ... I have a piece from the molas when I was in panama and I cannot tell the difference... cannot wait to see the other one.. thats alot of sewing too!
