Omiyage pouch

What a week... I'm finally finding a minute to post pictures of the little pouch I made for my son's teacher. It was just big enough to put a tiny scented candle inside, as an extra present. I even found little printed wooden beads the exact color of this fabric at the local supermarket of all places!

So very pretty! Is it silk? I keep looking at the projects in that book but they all seem too delicate for a big galumph like me to tackle!

I love your omiyagi. The colors work well together and the finished product is so sweet and pretty. I'm a teacher and I would love to receive that from a student! That omiyagi book is super. I've made so many of them.
