Here's a slightly different fabric postcard, and truly one of a kind because I had such a tiny piece of the flower fabric. I free-motion stitched stylized bamboo with gold thread and then fused on a flower I cut out from some Japanese kimono silk. Then I improvised a couple of buds (hmmm, that's funny: they look like the pods to me too...), and satin stitched the stems. I love bamboo- that was the first thing I planted when I finally got my own yard.
That might be my favorite one
