As promised and before I forget, here are some pictures of my mosaic bird feeder, ready to welcome the local birds. I bought a huge bag of bird seed, the birds are lining up in the yard, and so all I have to do is find the perfect place to hang this thing. Oh, yeah, and the perfect hanging device, or hook. So far nothing I've seen at the hardware store or in my garage will do the trick. There is only one little hole in the back wall of the little house to help hook it up.
Okay, well let's just worry about that later. In the meantime, I'm off to check eBay for bargains on mosaic tiles, or maybe some more stained glass tiles...
I love that, and those tiles with the butterflies and roses, wonderful!

Thanks for posting the photos. Gives me some ideas of what to do with that growing stash of blue and white that used to be mugs, a lamp, etc.

Hi! First of all I really enjoy your Blog. I look forward to seeing all of the wonderful things you have created and your craftmanship is superb.
I am a fan of bugs. Especially ladybugs, praying mantis and dragonflies. I have been working on a piece with 3-D dragonflies. I used organdy with a wire form. I then satin stitched around the edges and did some sewing in the wings to show the divisions.
Your feeder is beautiful. I have made one similiar (minus the wonderful mosaic) and mounted it on a metal pole. You can find metal fittings to put on the bottom of the feeder which is threaded and then use a threaded pipe. What lucky birds you have! Cheers,
Jeannie in Washington State
