New mosaic book

It's just after midnight in my time zone, and I'm feeling more relaxed now. One good thing about my trip into town earlier: I managed to make it to Brentano's and look at all the wonderful art and craft books. This is my favorite English bookstore in Paris. I couldn't find a single textile art book that I really wanted this time though, so I picked up this book called "Creative Garden Mosaics" by Jill MacKay. It's looks like a real winner, and a lot of the author's ideas are refreshing and new to me. Check out this bird house on the back of the book! Isn't it amazing? Wow, a miniature onion dome... That's what's so cool about this book: techinques for creating your own bases (see the face?).
